Educational Assistant (Apply online at hawaiipublicschools.org)

• Deliver academic, social, and vocational instruction to students under the guidance of the classroom teacher, oversee a small group of students in the classroom and playground, and other duties as assigned

• Part-time

• Bachelor or Associate degree (must include 48 semester credits) OR

• 48 semester credits at the baccalaureate level (must include 3 credits in English and 3 credits in Math) OR

• Passing score on the ParaPro Assessment (minimum score: 459)

​Substitute Educational Assistant

• Must be 18 years or older; no experience required

• Work 1-on-1 with students requiring closer supervision

• Hours: 7:00am-2:00pm or 7:30am-2:30pm

• Pay rate: $19.35/hour

Adult Supervisor

• Supervise students during morning and lunch recess

• Hours: 9:15 am - 12:45 pm

• Pay rate: $14.00/hour

Sub Office Assistant

• Monday-Friday

• Hours: 7:00am - 3:30pm

• Pay rate: $17.51/hour

Classroom Cleaners

• Cleaning classrooms

• Hours: daily, afternoons

• Pay rate: $14.00/hour

​Substitute School Custodians

• Building maintenance, clean-up, and building, grounds & yard maintenance

• Hours: 9:00 am - 5:30 pm 

• Pay rate: $24.35/Hour
