SCC - School Community Council
|
Participating on the School Community Council (SCC) is a rewarding experience for all those who value the opportunity to make a difference in public education. In 2004, the Hawaii State Legislature created School Community Councils (SCC). The SCC serves as an advisory body that works with the Principal on the school's Academic and Financial Plan. The SCC focuses on improving student achievement and is comprised of 1 school administrator, 1 school classified staff member, 2 students, 3 parents, 1 community member, and 2 school staff non-members. Meetings are held monthly during the school year and are open to the public.
