- 12/3 - School Community Council Meeting 5 pm in principal's conference room

- 11/27 - Picture retakes with Nagamine Photos
- Due to lettuce recall and fires in California it's been difficult to get lettuce so until further notice, there will not be any salads available on menus. Our cafeteria manager is working on replacing the fresh greens and vegetables with frozen alternatives.
- 11/20 and 11/21 - Our Leadership Luncheons will be held this week to focus on Habit 2 - Begin with the end in mind. On 11/20 our luncheon will be for students in grades K-2-4 (except for Mr. Dunn and Mrs. Pauole's classes). On 11/21 our luncheon will be for students in Mr. Dunnʻs and Mrs. Pauole's classes along with students in 1, 3, and 5.
- 11/22 and 11/23 - School will be closed for our Thanksgiving Holiday.
- 11/12/18 is Veterans Day. There is no school for students.
- 11/15/18 is Flu Clinic for students who returned their forms. Volunteers are needed to assist with observing students after getting the shots in the cafeteria, and helping to get students to and from the flue clinic. - 11/16 is PTSA Movie Night @5:30 in the cafeteria - free popcorn snacks, water will be sold

- 11/6/18 is Election Day. There is no school for students.

October 29-Nov. 2 - November 2nd is our 5th Annual Fun Run
October 22-26 - It's going to be a busy week. Here's what's on our schedule:
October 29-Nov. 2 - November 2nd is our 5th Annual Fun Run
- Our 5th Annual Fun Run will be held this week (November 2, 2018). The Fun run is one of the PTSA's largest fundraising events for the year. Money raised helps to provide important programs, activities, supplies and special requests that benefit our students, their teachers, and students' families. If you are interested in volunteering to help with the Fun Run, please email: puukukuiptsa@gmail.com.
October 22-26 - It's going to be a busy week. Here's what's on our schedule:
- 10/22/18 - 10/26/18 - Parent Teacher conferences - school will be dismissed at 12:30 during this week so that teachers and parents can have time to conference.
- 10/22/18 - Fun run envelopes need to be turned in. Our Fun Run will be on November 2nd.
- 10/24/18 -10/25/18 - Picture taking days - Envelopes have been sent home. Please make sure that you have an envelope if you'd like pictures. We also need permission to put your child's picture in the yearbook. If you haven't returned your permission forms, your child's teacher will have one for you to sign during your parent teacher conference.
- 10/24/18 - Unity Day (wear orange). Orange bracelets will be given out to students to support this DOE initiative. If you have picture taking scheduled for this day, you can bring something orange and change into it if you'd like to after your picture has been taken.
- 10/24/18 - Frank DeLima - assemblies will be held in the cafeteria during the school day.
- 10/24/18 - Math night in the cafeteria 6-7 pm - Mrs. Yoshida (our Math Coordinator), Mrs. Flight (our Curriculum Coordinator) and Dr. Perez (4th grade H203 teacher) will be sharing ideas for how parents can support students in Math at home.
- 10/25/18 - Panda Express PTSA fundraiser

The Hawai‘i DOE is encouraging students and staff to join a national movement for inclusive, nurturing learning environments for all. On Wednesday, Oct. 24, wear orange to show you care about safe and supportive schools and communities, and for solidarity during National Bullying Prevention Month. Let’s send a giant ORANGE message of hope and support! <details>
